Altia Plc announces it has signed an agreement to acquire cognac Renault brand together with some finished products inventories from Pernod Ricard, for a cash consideration of Euro 10 million. Being a strong, widely recognized trademark with heritage, Renault reinforces Altia’s position in the Nordic alcoholic beverage business. The brand is visible especially in the Nordic Travel Retail. The closing of the transaction is subject to clearance by the Swedish and Norwegian competition authorities.
Altia’s strategy is based on two corner stones – building own brands and providing a leading Nordic and Baltic service platform for suppliers to develop their business.
Over the past few years jazz music has become more and more popular in Finland. There are many new talented and young artists that also gather new audience to concerts and events.
